Support Equine Aftercare

The HBPA of Kentucky is hosting a charity golf scramble in memory of D. Wayne Lukas. This event will support thoroughbred aftercare, specifically benefiting Race for Aftercare, a 501c3 organization dedicated to providing lifelong sanctuary for retired racehorses. 

Event Details: 

· Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2026 

· Location: Nevel Meade Golf Club, 3123 Nevel Meade Dr., Prospect, KY 

· Schedule: 

o 12:30 PM: Registration 

o 1:00 PM: Lunch (sandwiches and chips, soft drinks, beer, water) 

o 2:00 PM: Shotgun start for golf scramble 

Participation Benefits: 

· 18 holes of golf with owners and backside personnel 

· Trophies and prizes for top performers 

· On-course competitions including closest to the pin and longest drive 

· Special games and refreshments throughout the day
