Along with the Department of Corrections in the state of Kentucky, the Groom Elite Second Chances Program is provided for those inmates qualified to work with retired thoroughbreds.
A renovation of the existing barn was performed by the inmates. It was an exciting project and now 9 retired thoroughbreds reside at the facility.
Horses may live upwards of 30 years, and Race for Aftercare is prepared to take care of them!
